Open House Meeting. General Plan Update. Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. 5PM. Winslow Chamber of Commerce. 523 West Second Street. Winslow, Arizona. Notice of special meeting of the Winslow City Council. There will be remote options for this meeting as it will be conducted in an open house format to allow for discussion a of land use maps and interaction with the public. The purpose of the Open House is to provide an opportunity for the Mayor, Council and Staff to present a draft of the City's updated General Plan to the public and provide an opportunity for the public to discuss the General Plan with City Officials in an interactive setting. The most recent draft can be found on the City Website NEWS Section. (WinslowAZ.gov) Public Viewing of Land Use Maps. After initial presentation and discussion of the General Plan, the Mayor will recess the meeting to allow for public view proposed land use maps at stations located throughout the room. Council members will be stationed at different map locations to listen to public comments. Members of the public are encouraged to view maps and share feedback. All proceeds will be donated to support the Special Olympics.
