Customer Rights

As customers for the upcoming Winslow Public Transit (WPT), you have rights that you should be aware of, this includes the following;

  • Title VI Plan - Non Discriminations Notice and Outline

    • ADA- Americans with Disabilities Act of 1964, revised 1990

    • LEP - Limit English Proficiency Plan

The Laws that are presented are for the benefit of all those whom we will be serving.  Title VI plan is an outline for the City of Winslow Public Transit,  for services being rendered to the public without regard to race, color, national origin, or disability, complying with the Title VI  of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973,  and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).

Any person who feels they have been discriminated against, by any unlawful practice, regarding the provisions of Title VI, may file a complaint with the WPT, or the City of Winslow. Transit’s information and policies are available in alternate accessible formats upon request.
