🚧 Exciting News for Winslow! 🚧
Today marks the start of the demolition at Coopertown Park, and as a result, the basketball court will be closed. This project is made possible by an AZ State Parks Grant awarded to the City of Winslow, which will bring exciting upgrades, including:
🏀 Brand-new basketball courts
💡 New court lighting
🌳 Shade structures for the playground equipment
Additionally, this grant will fund future improvements at other parks, including:
• New shade structures, benches, and trees at Triangle Park
• New playground equipment, shade structures, benches, and trees at Henderson Park
We kindly ask everyone to drive safely, adhere to traffic signs, and be mindful of workers in the area. Please note that during construction, some areas may not be open to the public.

A big thank you to the Winslow Public Works Safety Committee!
At last night's City Council Meeting, the Safety Committee presented a special Safety Challenge Coin to the Mayor and City Council. This coin will be awarded to all Public Works employees who remain accident-free for a calendar year!
In addition, this hardworking committee has organized valuable trainings for our city employees, including Public Safety Day, Fentanyl Training, CPR Training, Lift and Fall Training, and OSHA 10 Training.
We would like to remind everyone that "Safety is no Accident." It takes preparation, support, and vigilance to keep our community safe. Thank you for all your efforts!
