Please be advised that due to a main line water break, City of Winslow residents may experience little to no water pressure. Our Crews are aware of this issue and are currently working to address and repair the water line break. We do not currently have an estimated time frame for the repair. 🎉 Playground Update – Hayden Walton Park 🎉
The City of Winslow would like to provide an important update regarding the new all-inclusive playground at Hayden Walton Park.
During the final walk-through, excessive cracking was identified in the rubber surface near the swing set area. While this was something we were aware might come up during the final inspection, we made the decision to open the playground in the meantime so the community could begin enjoying it.
After further evaluation, it has been determined that the surfacing will need to be replaced to ensure the safety and overall quality of the playground.
Contractors will be on-site Friday, April 10th at 10:00 AM to complete the replacement. A security fence will be installed around the playground and will remain in place for at least 3 days while the new surface properly sets.
⚠️ For safety reasons, the playground will be temporarily closed during this time. ⚠️

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure this playground is a safe and enjoyable space for everyone. 🌳
