The City of Winslow is happy to announce that the Transfer Station payment kiosk is now back up and running and can accept credit and debit card payments!
Residents no longer need to purchase a voucher at City Hall before visiting the Transfer Station. Payments can once again be made directly at the kiosk.
We sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we worked to resolve this issue.

The City of Winslow would like to remind residents that the payment kiosk at the Transfer Station is still out of order.
We are currently ordering the necessary part for the kiosk and are working to get it repaired and back in service as quickly as possible. In the meantime, please plan ahead and purchase your Transfer Station voucher at City Hall before visiting the Transfer Station.
📢 Important Weekend Reminder: City offices will be closed Friday, August 14, in observance of Navajo Code Talkers Day.
If you plan to use the Transfer Station this weekend and need a voucher, please make sure to purchase one at City Hall before we close at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13.
♻️ As a reminder, green waste and recycling do not require a voucher.

Please be advised that the Winslow Splash Pad will be closed for maintenance. The Splash Pad will remain closed for the rest of today (Friday 8/7/26) and also throughout the weekend. Our crews are diligently working to address the issue and we hope to have it repaired as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

⚠️ Sand and Sandbags Available ⚠️
The City of Winslow has placed sand and empty sandbags out for community members who may need them.
📍 Locations:
Winslow Fire Department – dirt parking lot at Cottonwood & 3rd Street
Winslow Public Library – 617 W. 2nd Street
Please bring a shovel to assist in filling your own sandbags.
We kindly ask that you only take the amount you need so there are enough supplies available for everyone who may need sandbags.
