🚧 Traffic Update: ADOT Work on 87 Underpass 🚧
The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will begin work on the 87-underpass starting February 26th. During this time, crews will be flagging to help move traffic through the area, and there may be possible detours or rerouting in place.
We kindly ask all drivers to reduce speed, follow posted signage, and stay alert for workers in the area.

70 POUNDS OF FRESH, HEALTHY, READY TO EAT PRODUCE FOR A $15 DONATION! This Saturday, February 22 the Mother Road Farmers Market will be hosting another Borderlands Produce Distribution Event in the parking lot of the Winslow Chamber of Commerce from 10 am to 1pm (or until we sell out). There are no restrictions for this program - any age, income, zip code is welcome! Even better, you never have to get out of your car to participate. Simply drive up, get into the car line and wait for your turn. Once you reach the front of the line a volunteer will collect your (minimum) $15 contribution.
Depending on where you want your produce, pop your trunk or open your rear doors. You will then be directed to the next station where another team of volunteers will load your car with your up to 70lbs of rescued produce for that week.
This month’s produce hasn’t been announced yet, but we do know we will be receiving Roma Tomatoes! If 70 lbs seems like too much, find a Borderlands Buddy (or 2) and divide it up! For less than the cost of 2 dozen eggs you will be able to fill your fridge with fresh, healthy vegetables and fruit!
Volunteers get a free box! If you want to join the team of hard working volunteers, show up at 8am! Wear layers and gloves are recommended!


Mother Road Farmers Market is hosting another Don’t Cook Dinner Friday Afternoon Bazaar! Friday, February 21 from 2pm - 6pm we will be set up at our Downtown location at 115 E 2nd St in Winslow! (At the corner of 2nd and Williamson) We will have food trucks, vendors, and the Mother Road Market booth will have a selection of Arizona grown produce, with everything eligible for AZFMNP coupons! Sunny skies await - come out and enjoy Arizona’s Favorite Farmers Market!

We’re proud to announce that work will begin Tuesday, February 18th on a new project at Hayden Walton Complex, located next to the splash pad on Maple Street. Your 1% sales tax will be at work providing the city with new ramadas and improved concrete areas to enhance this community space. The project will be completed by McCauley's Construction.
Please reduce your speed, follow traffic signs, and be mindful of workers in the area to ensure everyone's safety.

The items include: miscellaneous knives, bicycles, and scooters. The auction will be conducted by Public Surplus through its online marketplace at www.publicsurplus.com/sms/browse/home with bidding opening at 6:00 a.m. on February 24, 2025 and closing at 1:00 p.m. on March 10, 2025.

NOTICE: The City Water Department is performing emergency repairs to a main water line break on Maple St. near Val Lopez field. Residents in the areas of Winslow Plaza may be affected and may experience low water pressure or water service interruptions.
We ask that you also please be aware that crew members and equipment will be present in the area as we work diligently to address the situation. There is no current estimation as to when the issue will be resolved at this time. Thank you for your patience as the repairs are being completed.

🚧 Exciting News for Winslow! 🚧
Today marks the start of the demolition at Coopertown Park, and as a result, the basketball court will be closed. This project is made possible by an AZ State Parks Grant awarded to the City of Winslow, which will bring exciting upgrades, including:
🏀 Brand-new basketball courts
💡 New court lighting
🌳 Shade structures for the playground equipment
Additionally, this grant will fund future improvements at other parks, including:
• New shade structures, benches, and trees at Triangle Park
• New playground equipment, shade structures, benches, and trees at Henderson Park
We kindly ask everyone to drive safely, adhere to traffic signs, and be mindful of workers in the area. Please note that during construction, some areas may not be open to the public.
