70 POUNDS OF FRESH, HEALTHY, READY TO EAT PRODUCE FOR A $15 DONATION! This Saturday, February 22 the Mother Road Farmers Market will be hosting another Borderlands Produce Distribution Event in the parking lot of the Winslow Chamber of Commerce from 10 am to 1pm (or until we sell out). There are no restrictions for this program - any age, income, zip code is welcome! Even better, you never have to get out of your car to participate. Simply drive up, get into the car line and wait for your turn. Once you reach the front of the line a volunteer will collect your (minimum) $15 contribution.
Depending on where you want your produce, pop your trunk or open your rear doors. You will then be directed to the next station where another team of volunteers will load your car with your up to 70lbs of rescued produce for that week.
This month’s produce hasn’t been announced yet, but we do know we will be receiving Roma Tomatoes! If 70 lbs seems like too much, find a Borderlands Buddy (or 2) and divide it up! For less than the cost of 2 dozen eggs you will be able to fill your fridge with fresh, healthy vegetables and fruit!
Volunteers get a free box! If you want to join the team of hard working volunteers, show up at 8am! Wear layers and gloves are recommended!

Mother Road Farmers Market is hosting another Don’t Cook Dinner Friday Afternoon Bazaar! Friday, February 21 from 2pm - 6pm we will be set up at our Downtown location at 115 E 2nd St in Winslow! (At the corner of 2nd and Williamson) We will have food trucks, vendors, and the Mother Road Market booth will have a selection of Arizona grown produce, with everything eligible for AZFMNP coupons! Sunny skies await - come out and enjoy Arizona’s Favorite Farmers Market!
