The City Water Department is performing emergency repairs to a water line break between N Taylor Ave and E Aspinwall Street. Residents in the Winslow Plaza neighborhood will be affected and may experience low water pressure or water service interruptions. Vehicle traffic in this neighborhood will be detoured and drivers are encouraged to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.

The following highways are closed in northern Arizona due to winter weather:
-Interstate 17 northbound at State Route 179 (milepost 299)
-Interstate 40 eastbound at US 93 (milepost 72)
-Interstate 40 eastbound at Ash Fork (milepost 146)
-Interstate 40 westbound in Williams (milepost 161)
-Interstate 40 westbound in Winslow (milepost 252)
-State Route 87 southbound in Winslow (milepost 338)
-State Route 87 northbound in Payson (milepost 255)
-State Route 89A in both directions between Flagstaff and Sedona (mileposts 375-398)
-State Route 260 in both directions between Camp Verde and State Route 87 (mileposts 219-252)
-State Route 64 east of the Grand Canyon National Park (mileposts 242-276)
Drivers who choose to travel during the winter storm should plan to spend an extended amount on time on roadways in winter conditions. Among our safety recommendations are tracking the forecast and packing an emergency kit that includes the following:
❄Fully-charged cell phone
❄Extra food and water
❄Necessary medications, prescriptions and extra diapers for infants or young children
❄First-aid kit
❄Flashlight and batteries
❄Extra blankets or clothes to stay warm
❄Ice scraper
❄Kitty litter or sand for wheel traction
❄Safety flares
